I just want to tell you both, good luck, we’re all counting on you.

The one line I’ll always associate with the late, great Leslie Nielsen. It’s a testament to the eternal appeal of his delivery that I found a film a decade older than me more side-splittingly funny than almost anything I’d seen before. It was humour that just worked, verbal and visual slapstick that appealed to everyone.

He was brilliant, and may never be replaced.
